Acceptable Use Policy
- Market your own business or your own work. That is what Cravim is for.
- Do not generate a real person’s face or voice without their permission. This is the rule we enforce most strictly.
- No sexual content, no content involving minors, no harassment, no impersonation, no deception about who is speaking.
- Breaking these can get your account suspended and, for the serious cases, reported.
This policy applies to everyone who uses Cravim, and forms part of the Terms of Service. It exists because a tool that makes convincing video of people on request can do real harm to real people, and being vague about that would be a choice rather than an oversight.
Real people, faces and voices
Cravim can hold a person’s appearance consistent across an entire campaign from a handful of reference photos. You may do this only for yourself, or for someone who has knowingly agreed to it.
You may not use it to:
- Generate a real person’s face, body or voice without their permission.
- Depict anyone saying or doing something they did not say or do.
- Create sexual or intimate imagery of any real person, with or without their consent.
- Generate any sexual content involving a minor, or any depiction of a minor in a sexualised context. There is no exception to this and no grey area in it.
- Impersonate a public figure, a brand, a journalist or an institution.
Honesty about what is generated
Marketing may be persuasive. It may not be a lie about what it is. Do not present generated video or images as documentary footage, genuine customer testimony, authentic reviews, or news. Do not fabricate a review, a rating, a case study or a customer quote. Do not generate content designed to look like it came from a publication or an authority that has nothing to do with you.
Content we will not host or publish
- Sexual or pornographic content of any kind.
- Content that harasses, threatens, bullies or incites violence against a person or group.
- Content that promotes hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
- Content promoting self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.
- Instructions for weapons, explosives or attacks on infrastructure.
- Malware, phishing, or anything designed to obtain someone’s credentials or payment details under false pretences.
- Content that infringes someone else’s copyright or trademark, including recreating a protected character, logo or trade dress you have no right to use.
Regulated claims
Some categories carry legal obligations that no generator can satisfy on your behalf. If you market health treatments, medicines, supplements, financial products, credit, legal services, gambling, alcohol, cannabis, firearms or anything aimed at children, the claims you publish are yours and you are responsible for them being true, substantiated and compliant where you operate. Cravim writes persuasively; it does not know what your regulator requires. The approval queue exists partly so that a person reads these before they go out.
Platform rules still apply
Publishing through Cravim to Instagram, Facebook, Google Business, LinkedIn, TikTok or YouTube does not exempt you from their policies. Their rules on advertising, disclosure, AI-generated media labelling and prohibited content apply to anything posted to your account, however it was made. A network suspending your account for something you published through us is not something we can undo.
Using the service itself
- Do not resell Cravim output as your own generation service unless you are on a plan that permits it.
- Do not share one account across an organisation to avoid paying for seats or workspaces.
- Do not scrape, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract our prompts, routing logic or model configuration.
- Do not attempt to bypass the approval gate, usage limits or content filters.
What happens if you break this
Depending on what happened, we may remove specific content, disconnect a social account, suspend generation, or terminate the account. For the most serious categories — sexual content involving minors, credible threats of violence — we will terminate immediately without warning and report it to the appropriate authorities.
If you believe we have got it wrong, email hello@cravim.ai and a person will look at it again. Where an account is suspended for something other than the categories above, we will tell you what triggered it.
Reporting misuse
If you have seen content made with Cravim that breaks this policy — particularly if it depicts you — email hello@cravim.ai. Tell us where you saw it. Reports about a person’s own likeness go to the front of the queue.
Questions about this page? Email hello@cravim.ai and a person will answer.
